What is Masdo Notification Service?
Masdo Notification Service is a free legal service that pushes Google Voice(GV) SMS text message and voicemail notification to an iPhone as soon as they are received.
The iPhone SMS service from AT&T can be cancelled completely to save money.
Google Voice does have free SMS, but as Apple didn't approve this application so there is no way to get SMS text message or voicemail with iPhone in real time.
Luckily, Google Voice sends it's user an email when it receives a SMS text message or voicemail.
But that is not good enough, because iPhone checks email every 15 minutes, which means a SMS text message may be delayed to deliver for 15 minutes.

4. There is no way for us to send email or messages from your email or phone # as our service catches messages only. Therefore, there is no way for Apple, AT&T, Gmail or other email companies to detect or block our service.
You are NOT violating your iPhone waranty by using our service as well.

Do you save or store my personal data sent to Masdo server?
No, we don't save or store any data, such as messages and phone numbers (yours and your friends').
All data our server receives are wiped once they are processed and sent to your iPhone.
The only info we save is the time a message being sent, which is for counting purpose.

Yes, it is absolutely. No credit card or home address required.
Here are the steps:
1. Get a Prowl API Key from Prowl's website: http://prowl.weks.net/
2. Install Prowl on your iPhone (The app receives push notifications.) Make sure to login to Prowl from your iPhone after installation. 3. Create an account with us and activate it.
4. Change settings for Google Voice:
5. Create 2 filters for Gmail to forward emails to our server:
Enter txt.voice.google.com and voice-noreply@google.com in the From filed for SMS and voicemail respectively.

I am sure I set it up correctly. But why are messages still not going out and coming to my iPhone?
Activate your phone number and email if you have not done it yet. Then make sure you have your GV phone as a mobile.
How do I reply SMS text message or make a call via Google Voice?
You have 2 ways to reply a SMS text message:
1. Launch your iPhone browser Safari and visit Google Voice web application: http://voice.google.com/
After you login, all of your messages are in front of you. You can click Reply to reply a SMS message or cick Call to make a phone call. Make sure to check Remeber me on the login page so you don't need login for future visits and can reply easily.
(Tips: Adding phone numbers to your Google Voice Contacts saves you a lot of time from typing them). Also, you can add a redirection to Prowl in the Settings to launch Safari and go to Google Voice when you receive a message. Just set the Aplication Name to SMS.)
2. Install GV Mobile from Cydia. But this requires to jailbreak your iPhone. If you choose to do this, you are taking your own risk and we don't give any support. (Tips: If your iPhone is jailbroken already, you can install Backgrounder from Cydia so you don't need to launch GV Mobile every time you receive/reply a SMS message.)

UnBlock:PhoneNumber : Removes the phone number from your block list (Replace PhoneNumber with a phone number).

Is it possible to display a name instead of a phone number in the Notification?
Yes, just login to you Google Voice and add the phone number to your Contacts.
